On Friday 10 May 2024, more than 600 barristers, judges and guests filled the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Sydney for the 2024 Bench and Bar Dinner. The event saw the Honourable Justice R Beech-Jones of the High Court of Australia speak about the ever-changing Bar, including how membership has grown from 1936 to 2023.

Ms Junior was Rose Khalilizadeh of Public Defenders Chambers. Mr Senior was Stuart Lawrance SC of Tenth Floor Selborne/Wentworth Chambers. Both gave irreverent and entertaining speeches following an Acknowledgement of Country by Michael West.
